Today, February 11, 2011, the Vice President of Egypt announced that Hosni Mubarak would be resigning from office. With all the events that have unfolded in recent days, Egypt is changing the course of history right before our very eyes. The gruesome film footage and photos on the news are not something I want my children to witness just yet. But, it is a good time to introduce them to some information about Egypt in hopes that it will open up their eyes for more learning.

My daughter, Eliana, fell in love with elephants at the age of 2.
